5. Don’t skip meals.
People often feel that eating less would help them lose weight, however, missing meals might lead to overeating at the next meal. This is when blood sugar levels become too low, causing hunger. So, by the time you have your next meal, you’re so hungry that you’re more likely to consume too much.
Furthermore, missing meals can cause the body to enter starvation mode, or a fasting state, in which the brain instructs the body to slow down functions to conserve energy and burn fewer calories. As a result, the weight loss you desire may take longer, and you will almost certainly recover body weight once you resume normal eating habits.
