Salary: $18 per hour / 35 hours weekly

Summary

Languages: English or French

Education: High school diploma from a secondary school (this is a plus) or no diploma or certificate

Experience: 7 months to 1 year

Workplace: Motel, resort, and hotel

Tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Mop, sweep, clean, and sparkle floors.
  • Wipe clean furniture.
  • Vacuum upholstered furniture, blinds, area rugs, and carpets.
  • Change sheets and make beds.
  • Disperse fresh toiletries and towels.
  • stocked closet for linens
  • Clean, sanitize, and shine the fixtures and appliances in the kitchen and bathroom.
  • Handle lost and found things and report them.
  • Respond to requests from visitors for additional supplies or other products.
  • Give a basic overview of the facilities.
  • Clear the area of debris and empty the garbage cans.
  • Clean the walls, ceilings, and windows.
  • Clean locker rooms
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision

Physical capacities and work environments: Repeated tasks, physically taxing and strength sapping duties and it requires sitting, standing amd walking.

Managing weight: Up to 30 pounds (13.5 kg)
